What personal data we collect and why we collect it
Contact forms
Contact forms use Google or Facebook Forms and populate your information on a sheet which only Google, Facebook and Laya Brandt management can access. This is for the sole purpose of communicating with you, as you requested. We do not sell or rent your personal information.
What we collect with orders (books)
Orders – If you choose to order a book, we link directly to Amazon and orders there are subject to their privacy policy.
Your computer might install a cookie in your computer. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again. These cookies will last for one year or until you clear cookies from your system.
Embedded content from other websites
Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.
These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.
Analytics
We do not currently collect information for analytics purposes. However, we do advertise with Facebook ads and Facebook does collect some analytical information. See Meta/Facebook’s privacy policy here.
More Facebook Advertising & Privacy Information
We occasionally use Facebook (Meta) advertising to share information about our programs and resources. Meta may use information such as demographics, interests, and online activity to determine which advertisements people see.
Meta provides advertisers with aggregated analytics and advertising performance information, such as the number of people who viewed or interacted with an advertisement. Advertisers generally do not receive personally identifying information about individuals simply because they viewed or interacted with an ad.
For more information about how Meta collects and uses information, and the privacy choices available to you, please visit:
